Monte Carlo (movie)

Okay.
So yesterday, I went to the cinemas and watched Monte Carlo starring Selena Gomez (Alex from Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place), Leighton Meester (Blair from Gossip Girl), Katie Cassidy (Nightmare on Elm Street) ad Cory Monteith  (Finn, from Glee).

Plot:
A young woman named Grace (Selena Gomez), her uptight stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester) and her best friend Emma (Katie Cassidy) use their savings for a long-anticipated dream trip to Paris, which turns out to be a big disappointment. When they decide to take a break from their tour and duck into the lobby of a posh hotel, Grace is mistaken for a spoiled English heiress named Cordelia Winthrop Scott (also played by Gomez). Before they get the chance to reveal their true identities, they are wrapped up in misadventures during a vacation to Monte Carlo instead. From this point on, their vacation becomes infused with adventure, firefights and paparazzi.

Before I saw the movie, I watched the trailer and at fist I was like, Oh no, not another Hilary Duff movie. Selena was in a remake of a Hilary Duff movie, A Cinderella Story, which is, Another Cinderella Story.

And so I thought that MOnte Carlo was like The Lizzie Mcguire Movie because the movies have so much similarities. Like for example the graduation, the fireworks, THE TWIN/IDENTICAL POPSTAR/FAMOUS MILLIONAIRE, the sneakers/boots, tour in ROME/PARIS, and a lot more.

AFter I watched the movie, I can say that yes, there are similarities but Monte Carlo is totally different from The Lizzie Mcguire Movie.
Even though MOnte Carlo is a great-highly recommended- movie, I still love The Lizzie Mcguire more. It's because I love Lizzie and Gordo's love story -you know, they were best friends and everything but it was not awkward when they fell in love with each other--it was rather sweet.
I am also very contented in the ending of TLM movie.
One of the things I love in Monte Carlo is that there are  HOTTIES. (the guys and the girls)

So here's the trailer of Monte Carlo:

The movie was great. Awesome setting : PARIS--Eiffel Tower! and Monte Carlo.

katie, leighton and Selena inside the eiffel tower. I mean, on the staircase. :)

the girls running in Paris, catching their bus.

i love horses

and beaches, too

And the Cast:

Selena Gomez as Grace
keep your fingers crossed, Sel.

During Grace's graduation.

Bestfriends: Emma (Katie) and Grace

Grace working as a waitress (like Sam in A Cinderella Story)

 Grace pretending to be Cordelia

Selena Gomez as CORDELIA, a bitchy, British heiress

Selena did well on the ACCENT

Leighton Meester as Meg, Grace's stepsister

She looks really pretty even with little makeup.
I love the movie's wardrobe.

Katie Cassidy as Emma, grace's bestfriend and Meg's high school classmate.

Selena and Katie playing on the set of MC

Cory Monteith as Owen, Emma's Boyfriend, who follows her to Europe

Pierre Boulanger as Theo, Grace's French love interest.

BandSlam (Movie)

So I just watched the movie, BandSlam (from youtube via mobile)starring Vanessa Hudgens, ALy Michalka and Gaelan Conell and I liked it. It's not worthy enough to be called epic though, but yeah, I had fun watching. Maybe it's because I am a huge fan of bands and I'm in a band myself. (Well, I WAS but don't worry, I WILL be.)
ANyway, I like the movie's concept and style... I like the music (ska, etc) and their wardrobe.

So if you're into bands and light, funny movies, you should watch this.
I also like the songs, the one Aly or Charlotte 'composed' and also the punk rock version of 'Everything I Own' sung by Vanessa Hudgens. Talking about the movie's version of Everythign I own, I like the arrangement, but although how big of a fan I am of Baby V, I think her voice doesn't suit the song. I prefer Aly's. But to the mellow version (the acoustic version which Vanessa sang in the video), V's voice really fits the song.
Visit the movie's site:
(You can listen to the songs here)

So here are some pictures:

I Like Aly's outfit here. Totally my style.
Aly is a really great actress. She should do more musical movies. Well, cheerleading or gymnastics and the like sounds good, too...Seeing her in Hellcats.. She's really talented.

Aly as Charlotte

I also like her outfit. Gaahh can't get enough of mild punk rock ska style. XD

Vanessa as Sa5m (the 5 is silent)

SOmehow I've only featured the girls in this movie. Oh well.

Here's rockin V.

And oh, I also likeeyy the drummer, Basher. Can't get any pic of him tho. Just check out the movie's web and look for him.

The Whole Band
